Accommodation on the courses

At High McGowanston we have a cottage annexe adjacent to the studio for course participants to rent as a self catering cottage. It has two bedrooms, a galley kitchen, electric cooker & microwave, washing machine. The lounge has seating, a TV and a log fire for heating. There is timed hot water, storage heaters, a shower room and wifi connection. The price for a room (6 nights) in the cottage is £150/person undertaking a 5 day bronze course. If you want a companion (not on course) to stay in the cottage with you, having the cottage all to yourself for your duration here the cost is £375.

Campervans. There is really only room for two students in the self catering cottage annexe, this is usually let on a first come first served basis. Here on the smallholding we have plenty of space for campers or caravans, you can hook up to water and electric and stay here on site, fees £18 per night.

Course participants may opt for a local B&B instead, of which there are several to choose from in the local vicinity. Below are a couple listed in order of their proximity to the sculpture foundry studio.
